This week I would like to place a spotlight on Arnall's Supplements. I have been feeding the Arnall's Total product to Quite Nice 11 for about two months now. Since starting him on the product his coat looks healthier and his dapples are clearly showing through. We have had a rigorous training schedule and Q comes out every day ready to work with no soreness or stiffness from the day before.

The Arnall's team ensures that only...

I'll be honest, it has taken me a long time to sit down and finally put my thoughts into writing on this topic. Over the past three months I have discovered a lot of things about myself due to injury and the forced recovery process that followed. If you don't know, on October 24, 2017 I was kicked in the side while rehabbing an injured horse at work. I was hand-walking this horse when he tried to bolt from me and struck me wit...

Well, a lot has happened since my last update, most importantly the American Eventing Championships. Q and I traveled to Tryon International Equestrian Center (also the location for the World Equestrian Games next year) to compete in the Junior Young Rider Training Division.

To begin I want to talk about the facility at Tryon. The facility overall is incredible and unlike most competition venues. It is largely spectat...

Once Phillip arrived the work really began- as far as riding goes that is.

The first day of the clinic was show...

In writing this post, I hope to introduce everyone to my ideas behind this blog/website and my goals for it. Every week or two I hope to add a new blog post highlighting my competition experiences, discussing interesting topics of eventing, and as I move to North Carolina, sharing my experience as a working student with Will Faudree. I believe that sharing experiences such as these hopefully allows for those reading to learn s...

July 14, 2017

To start, I have to say that moving sixteen hours away from home to North Carolina is probably one of the scariest things that I have ever done. I was very lucky to be given a working student position at Gavilan Farm with event rider Will Faudree and I could not pass up the opportunity to expand not only my riding abilities but also my knowledge of the equestrian business. So, I packed everything for Q and I into my trailer an...
